Dr. EvlynRomanowski
Dr. Evlyn Romanowski graduated in 1993 in British Columbia with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She missed Alberta and her family, soon returning home to the community of Spruce Grove where she has remained for most of her practicing years. To date, her greatest pleasure is seeing how the Karo Dental practice has grown since its inception. Most rewarding is that patients she served as children now bring their families into the practice! When not at the practice, Evlyn spends time with her husband and teenaged daughter who keeps them busy with Ukrainian dancing, ballet, and simply just being a young adult. In her spare time, Dr. Romanowski enjoys spending time at home, which happens to be her grandparents’ original farmstead just north of Edmonton. You can find her there gardening and canning.
Dr. KrisKalhs
Dr. Kalhs originally hails from Drumheller, but has been a citizen of Spruce Grove for many years. Kris has six — yes, six! — children, three girls and three boys. He enjoys a variety of physical activities in his spare time, from boating and sailing to skiing and working out. In 1977, he graduated from the University of Alberta with a DDS. Thereafter, he spent a year in the University’s hospital internship program where he focused mainly on surgery. Dr. Kalhs looks forward to providing comfortable, quality dental care to Spruce Grove and surrounding communities.
Dr. CatherynShea
Dr. Shea was raised in Camrose, but moved to Edmonton to complete her post-secondary education at the University of Alberta. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (2007) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (2011). In 2011, Catheryn joined the Karo Dental team and prides herself in offering personal, exceptional care to all of her patients. Outside of being a dentist, Catheryn’s favourite role is being a mother to her two small children. She currently works three days a week. In her spare time, she enjoys running, photography, travelling with her family, and catching an Oilers game with her husband.
